48 hours of practical preparation as a volunteer energy healer
Are you called to service? Do you feel drawn to do healing work in the community on a volunteer basis? Does working in a team setting with the most needy of clients, those who are institutionalized or otherwise unable to come to you touch you? The Mission of Blue Lotus Healing Society is to provide spiritual healing of body, mind and spirit for anyone, anytime, anywhere. If you are drawn to fulfilling this Mission with us, or just want to do service work in energy healing, this healing program is essential for you. With a minimum of Reiki I (or other hands-on energy healing modality) & six months healing experience and approval of the instructor, you can develop the skills necessary to join us in accomplishing this great Work through this intensive training. (Classes may also be taken separately)
Winter Session 2007 — January 20th to May 7th
HM501 Healing with Energy Learn the essentials of working with energy — sensing the energy field, moving energy: pushing & pulling, strengthening, expanding & contracting the aura. Re-view the auric field and the chakras as places to gather vital information about the physical, mental, emotional & spiritual states of the client. Learn the basic Bruyere healing technique “Chelation” Kachel 6 hrs Sat Jan 20th 10am-5pm $95
HM502 Basic Anatomy, Diseases & Treatments for Healers Delve into the mystery and beauty of the physical human body. Become familiar with its systems and organs. Learn to “touch” the body and listen to it speak. Gain knowledge of common medical language to better understand what’s going on with clients & to speak with medical personnel. Also become skilled at energetic healing techniques designed for working with physical systems/organs. Kachel 20 hours 8 Mondays Feb 12th thru Apr 2nd 6:30-9pm $300
HM504 Building Rapport It’s important to establish a calm, soothing, trusting relationship & environment with your client, even in an institutional setting! Learn how to set & hold sacred space, be present, connect deeply & meaningfully, detach and more. 3 hrs Kachel Mon Jan 22nd 6:30-9:30pm $45
HM505 Team Building Ancient healing was performed as a sacred ritual in the temples with teams of healer/priest/priestesses. Working together with more than one healer exponentially multiplies healing power & efficiency. However, ego & conflict need to be left out. Learn how to blend your energies and tap into a space of shared rhythm & knowing with your teammates and experience the increased blessings your team can bring to the healing space. HM506 Scanning the Aura One of the most important of the basic tools we have as healers is the ability to scan the aura. Using all your powers of perception- seeing, hearing, tasting, feeling, knowing - we can get an overall sense about a client’s condition. We can often “pick up” indications of specific energy blocks and possible physical problems by feeling them in the field. 3 hrs Kachel Mon Feb 5th 6:30-9:30pm $45
HM507 Charting If you are working with someone long-term or need to document your sessions, charting can be a very useful skill to have. This is not charting in the medical/insurance sense, but a visual & written record including the client’s history, presentation, your scanning of the aura, your treatment and your recommendations for future sessions using Rosalyn Bruyere’s model. 3 hrs Kachel Mon Apr 9th 6:30-9:30pm $45
HM508 Hospital Protocols Working in a public institution — hospitals & nursing homes, senior centers, etc. — requires special awareness, behavior and protocols. Learn the who, what, when, where, why & how of working with in-house patients. Kachel 3 hrs Mon Apr 16th 6:30-9:30pm $45
HM509 Handling Grief, Abuse & Other Traumatic Situations Do you know what to do if your client suddenly goes into reliving a traumatic situation, begins to cry and act hysterically? Can you detach enough emotionally and compassionately in order to assist the person to work through these memories? Remember, the issues are in the tissues! Come and explore this most important issue for healers. Learn some physical, spiritual, emotional and energetic techniques to use in a healing crisis. Kachel 3 hrs Mon Apr 23rd 6:30-9:30pm $45
HM510 On Being an Empath Do you literally feel another’s pain? Do you know what someone is feeling or know what’s wrong just by being present in their auric field? Great! But, do you know how to “turn it off” when you’re not working? Can you let the pain and feelings inform without taking them on or into yourself? We will explore “Energetic Aikido”, different methods of energetically allowing stuff to pass through, clearing and cleansing and more. Kachel 2 hrs Mon Apr 30th 7-9pm $30
HM511 Working with Guidance Are you aware of other healing hands working with or through you while you are doing healing work? Ever have the feeling that someone else is directing your hands or giving advice on what to do next? Meet your healing guides, teachers & doctors & learn how to better communicate and work with them. 2 hrs Kachel Mon May 7th 7-9pm $30
HC001 Visiting Healers’ Practice Group (For VH completers only) A monthly healing time to debrief, practice, and learn new information and techniques. Kachel 3rd Sundays 3-5pm $10 donation.
